Halloween Sing Along: Remy 3D and Lexi 5E

The CDNIS Halloween sing-along for lower school was on November 1st, 2024. It took place on the 5th floor in the Alan Dick Forum. The teachers and all the lower school students were involved. this is an annual tradition at our school. It happens so all lower school students can have fun on Halloween. It was also to get together and see whose costume is funniest, most original and most sustainable. this year we had very creative costumes from all grade levels. each year now, a teacher will get randomly chosen to get pied in the face. who will it be next year?

October Swim Meet: Amelia 5E 

Victoria Park saw many CDNIS swimmers gather on october 25. there was a really important swim meet happening – our first one of the season. the swimming pool at victoria park is 50m. race events included relays, freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly. swimmers were challenged to swim 100m, which some of us never did at a swim meet and the relays included freestyle. As a swimmer, i felt proud of being part of the cdnis swim team. go timberwolves go!

Olivia Rodrigo x Hong Kong: Celeste 5D 

Olivia Rodrigo came to hk to perform her guts world tour! She dropped her new merch because of her tour. One of the very popular new merch is a purple stanley. She is the first artist to sing in the new hk stadium!

Her top songs are Drivers License, Vampire and Good 4 U. She was just a 17 year old girl acting in disney channels, until one day she made her first song, Drivers License. it became an instand hit. Her tour destinations are Hong Kong, London, California and Birmingham.

The new stadium is in Kowloon, making it a very BIG stadium. Her tour had hundreds of fans cheering for her, so she had to get a lot of bodyguards!

Olivia rodringo is a great artist, actor and influence on pop culture. I hope she continues her career for a long time, seeing all her fans!
