Crazy hair day was truly magnificent. On Friday September 26th Lower School students, teachers and even principals participated in this fun event!
Many students put hair dye and fun items into their hairstyles that day. Terence from 4E was interested in science, so he wore a science inspired wig with a bandanna! Ellie who loves dim sum, had her mom help her tie a bun onto her hair with a siu-mai hair clip and chopsticks! Simone from 4B liked eating Haribo gummy bears, so she taped many delicious mini gummy packs to her hair. Remy from 4C got inspiration from her old classmate Jasmine and put fidget toys onto her hair with some bows. How did everyone manage to get all these fun things out of their hair at the end of the day? Sonia C from 4C got creative and tied two pony tails on both sides of her head, then put her pony tails inside two empty toilet paper rolls. Timothy from 3C put Lego pieces into his hair because he was inspired by a photo he saw online.
Everyone who participated donated $20. Normally for Dress Down Days, all the money goes to one of our school charities but this time, it went to Kliptown Youth Program (KYP) in memory of their leader who sadly passed away.
Crazy hair day was a really fun event for everyone because everybody got to dress up and make their hair as crazy as can be. Everyone was so creative making their hairstyles! What were some memorable hair designs that you spotted?
